We also test your knowledge of recently launched issue XI with our free-to-enter prize draw. A lucky winner will be sent a pair of our editor’s favourite Audison Voce speakers! But, as always, we are all about music. What are you listening to in your car? We have some examples of tunes that other friends and members are listening to, including this month’s hidden track. A banger, if ever there was one.

Editor’s Choice - Audison Voce AV K6

My love of these speakers is well documented in many articles in Driving Sounds. In this piece, I explain what makes me prefer them over just about any other speakers at a similar price point.

Top Tunes

Stuart Crombie chose this month’s Top Five. Co-owner of FOUR MASTER Car Audio Partner, Accutek, Stuart is one of the most highly considered installers in the country. Every installation of his I have had the pleasure of listening to sounds magnificent. Stuart and I have shared a lot of music, and I like his recommendations. He recently installed an Audison Prima system into the Alpina B3 pictured below, and even that sounds stunning!

Gabrielle - Alice Russell (Kiko Navarro Reprise Mix)

Still a Friend of Mine - Incognito

Silver Shadow - Incognito (Acoustic Version)

Be Thankful - Omar (Feat. Erykah Badu)

Low Down - Mario Biondi, Chaka Khan, Incognito

We are always keen to hear what our club members are listening to in their cars. Please send five tunes that you are currently listening to. No judgment, just music! Send yours by clicking on the button below.

Opinion

This month, I have decided to spare you from one of my grumpy old man rants.

I do want to share an experience that I had this week, though. We were invited to look around an Audison Prima system fitted into a stunning Alpina B3. This article will not be finished for a while, as we like to take our time, but the owner invited us into his home. In the corner was a 1973 Rockola Juke Box. This proved to be in original order and was stuffed full of singles that he and his wife enjoyed in the 1970s and 1980s. They use it when hosting parties - How great is that!

Although he had not seen last month’s piece about Jukeboxes being an early form of Spotify, (https://www.drivingsounds.co.uk/driving-sounds-club/broadcast/jumping-june) he could completely relate to it.

Be careful out there.
