Welcome one and all to another Driving Sounds Club digest!

This month we wanted to highlight the skills of the FOUR MASTER network of specialist installers. We work closely with these guys as they are responsible for some of the best car audio installations in the business! Most of the vehicles featured in Driving Sounds Magazine feature installations by FOUR MASTERS. However, we feel these skills are often overlooked and want to put this right!

Of course, a car audio upgrade only makes sense if you listen to music. We listen everyday and are always on the look out for great tunes for the car. This month, our hidden track (click the image above!) is a collaboration between Sheryl Crow and Citizen Cope. It is their version of an old Bill Withers track (What happens when you put a duck in a microwave? - Sorry, couldn't resist it - Ed). It has a great groove which we love. It is available on Tidal and Qobuz in 96kHz 24bit form and is very worthwhile searching out and trying in your own car.

Spectacular car audio is not just about product selection. Somehow, the equipment selected needs to be installed in order to get the best from it. This could mean the fabrication of an amp rack or the creation of A-pillar mounts for speakers or even a custom enclosure for a subwoofer. Why Visit a FOUR MASTER?

The FOUR MASTER Network was the brain child of FOUR UK's Founder, Brian Parton. He had a vision of a network of independent specialist installers sharing knowledge to improve the quality of the whole industry which at the time had fallen into disarray.

To celebrate our FOUR MASTER - heavy content, this month we are repeating a selected Top Five from FOUR MASTER John Kleis Car Audio's ace installer Simon Longmuir. Have to admit that this is a few years old, but it is always good to hear FOUR MASTERS using something other than narrow bandwidth, limited dynamic range "cut and paste" music to set up audio systems with.

Worth looking these up and trying them in your own car. Get them in as hi res a form as you can for maximum effect.
