Early November Driving Fun

Welcome to our late October/early November Driving Sounds Club Newsletter.
This month's hidden track (it's behind the picture above - Shhhh!) is inspired by a car we reviewed some years ago. Due to a catalogue of events, the review never made it into an issue of the magazine. This is a shame as listening to it was a near religious experience for me. It was one of my first Hi-Res experiences and the car sounded so sweet, I could have sat in it all day! During the review we listened to some Jacques Loussier. For those who don't get the image above, he specialised in jazz remakes of many pieces written by J.S. Bach including the one chosen to accompany the famous TV adverts for Hamlet Cigars.
Anyway, we are once again running the review which we have now uploaded onto the website. Find the notice below and follow the link to read it either as a word document or download the fully designed article in PDF form.

The BTCC body kit and Frank Stella inspired paint job are just two of the amazing raft of modifications that owner Bruce Gowans has made to this car.
The audio system is the star for us of course, so hit the button below to read the article.

Never really found the opportunity to write about this magnificent 5-channel from Audison. This may be well worth a read if you are looking to upgrade your car audio with Hi Res/Audiophile listening in mind. Click the button below to learn more.

This month's Top Five is from Driving Sounds Club Member, Dave Lusted. Unfortunately, we know nothing else about him, but we loved his top five and accompanying comments which we fully endorse! - Thank you Dave.

Liberty - Anette Askvik. Her vocals will test your system set up and staging.
Reckoner - Radiohead. The cymbals and snare really move around the car.
Thanks to you - Boz Scaggs. The sub bass on this track just hovers in.
Fever - Musica Nuda. The double bass and cello will find any vibrating panels on your installation and her voice will test it too.
Red right hand - Nick Cave. just an amazing track the atmosphere and sound are amazing.

Don't forget, anyone can submit a Top Five. Not necessarily your favourites of all time just five that are currently helping you through the hard miles. Please share.
